A deluxe edition of the mini street atlas of inner London in an attractive brown hardback cover embossed with the word 'London' - a compact accessory and direction finder all in one. The book is equipped with two ribbon page markers and an elastic fastener. The maps of central London are at the extra-large scale of 1:9051 (7 inches to 1 mile) with the rest of Inner London at a 1:18,103 (3.5 inches to 1 mile). Coverage extends to Hampstead, Stratford, Greenwich, Lewisham, Balham, Richmond and East Acton. The cartography clearly distinguishes main roads, and all roads within the congestion charge zone (which includes the westward extension) are outlined in green. Other detail includes pedestrian areas, car parks, speed cameras, railways and stations, tube stations, tram stops and bus stations. Selected house numbers are marked and post code and local authority boundaries are shown. Symbols show emergency services, hospitals, markets, post offices, information offices, antiquities, churches etc. In the larger scale section only, one-way streets, embassies, museums and theatres are marked and public buildings and places of interest are distinguished. There is a Theatre and Cinema Map of central London, map of the administrative and postcode boundaries and a diagram of the whole London Underground network. A comprehensive index highlights key places of interest and public buildings in colour.
