This map combines road and tourist detail with relief indicated by contours at 100m intervals, altitude and bathymetric tinting, and peak heights. The sheet is double-sided with western Madeira on one side and eastern Madeira on the reverse. Insets show Ilha do Porto Santo and Ilhas Desertas. Roads detail includes intermediate driving distances. Detail also includes footpaths and the Levada system. Symbols depict various landmarks, sites of interest and recreation sites eg. churches, ruins, petrol stations, windmills, viewpoints, campsites and beaches.
It includes an index of place names. Longitude and latitude lines are drawn at 5' intervals, and a UTM grid is also printed over the map.
