Double sided, indexed road map on durable, waterproof paper, dividing the country east/west at scales of 1:1,100,000 and 1:800,000 respectively. The map combines clear road and tourist detail with relief indicated by contours, altitude tinting, and spot heights. Road detail includes provincial and secondary roads and selected tracks. Intermediate driving distances are shown on principal roads, toll expressways are marked and frontier crossing points are shown. Railways and sea ferries are shown and symbols depict airports and airfields. Swamps, mangroves and coral reefs are indicated and bathymetric tinting is applied to the ocean area. Regional boundaries and names, national parks and reserves are marked, and a further range of symbols shows beaches, temples, mosques, archaeological sites, caves,beaches, diving sites and places of interest. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals, and the map legend is in English only.

This is one of the maps published under the auspices of Reise Know-How Verlag’s World Mapping Project, some titles from which are published by Rough Guides, using the same original cartography. We hold as regular stock all the titles in the Rough Guide edition, and the remaining titles are listed on our website in the original Reise Know-How version.

Nb. Some elements of the cartography e.g. minor roads and contours, are printed relatively faintly compared with other details e.g. major roads. Although clearly legible on the map, the lower contrast of these details may make them appear less obvious on the reproduction of the cartography presented here.
