General relief on the surrounding land is indicated by hill-shading, with additional graphics distinguishing landscape variations eg. desert, marsh, salt lakes, etc. Road detail is mostly concerned with motorways and main highways, with selected minor roads also included, and intermediate distances shown on main routes. Other details: airports, vehicle ferries, oil pipelines, main railways, international boundaries and border crossing points. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1°and 2° intervals respectively, and the multilingual legend included English.

The main feature of interest to cruise holidaymakers is the inclusion of tables of monthly climate data: mean values for daily max and min temperatures, sea temperatures, days without precipitation, hours of sunshine, wind speed and an indication of the potential for heat stress. This information is shown for over 50 locations from the Atlantic coast to the Black Sea and Elat.
