Large, indexed general map providing the particularly useful element of a small fold-out flap in the jacket, showing a reference map of the area covered and including the coordinate system in the margins, thus making it easier to go to the correct locality of the map. Also a set of 7 peel-on - peel-off stickers (po-po) are provided for making selected locations more prominent when navigating. The cartography is essentially the same as that found in the GeoCenter map.

General relief is conveyed by hill-shading and spot eights for selected peaks, with names of highland regions marked. Bathymetric tints with soundings provide generalized information on the surrounding seas, Main coral reefs are also marked. Road detail includes secondary roads and selected tracks, and intermediate road distances are marked on principal routes. Airports, railways and some sea ferry links are indicated. Locations of interest are highlighted and national parks/protected areas are shown. Time zone boundaries are indicated across the whole region. Latitude & longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals, and the multilingual legend includes English.

The map coverage includes Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador and western Honduras, and reaches north to Lubbock, Texas and east along the southern USA coast to include New Orleans and Panama City on the Florida panhandle. The index is in booklet attached to the cover and includes place names and national parks and reserves.
