Bold relief shading very effectively shows the county’s topography, with names of mountain ranges and main peaks. The map stresses the country’s main roads, but also includes selected rural roads and tracks. Railways, local airports and main ferry connections are marked and the map also shows local internal administrative divisions with names of the provinces.

Symbols highlight various places of interest, including numerous camping and caravan sites, beaches, diving windsurfing sites, skiing areas, caves, campsites, etc. The map is indexed and has a grid for latitude and longitude at 1º intervals. Map legend includes English.
