Spiral bound, 240-page cycling map/guide to New Zealand, presenting two circular tours of the whole of North and South Island including the region north of Auckland. The guide also includes trails across each island to provide shorter alternatives to the complete tours.

The routes are presented on clear maps at 1:400,000, indicating sections without or the density of motorized traffic, types of road surface, and gradient markings. A wide range of symbols indicate accommodation facilities (hotels, guesthouses, youth hostels, campsites) tourist information centres, bike workshops and rentals, covered or lockable bike stands, as well as various places of interest and recreational facilities. Where appropriate, similarly annotated street plans are also provided.

A map of each section of the route, around 100km to 125km in length depending on the terrain, is accompanied by a description, lists of facilities and places of interest with contact addresses, a route profile and a locator map. The guide has an index of locations and an introductory section with general tips about traveling and cycling in New Zealand.
