Most of the USA is at 1:1.1 million (except Alaska at 1:8.5 million ). Canada is at 1:1.5 million to 1:8.5 million, and Mexico is at 1:5 million.

Road detail shows intermediate driving distances on main roads, with unpaved roads and scenic routes distinguished. There is no relief shading but mountain ranges are named and significant peaks indicated, also water features shown include swamp areas and intermittent rivers & lakes. National parks, national forests etc. are highlighted and symbols depict selected sites of interest, campsites, hospitals, visitor information centres and ski areas. Includes 246 city plans and conurbation maps showing major streets and through-routes, some of which are indexed for localities. Legend in English only.
