Uncomplicated cartography with clear main road detail. Main railways, some secondary roads & some long distance walking tracks are indicated. National & Forest Parks are distinguished and symbols show tunnels and passes. General relief is not portrayed but several spot heights are marked for mountain peaks. The map is annotated with reference to various places of interest, and on the reverse side is a range of more detailed tourist information for particularly notable locations and a some general advice for visitors.

Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals and the map is indexed.
