Printed on tear and water-proof paper this a quality map showing all the physical features of the sea-bed. The map extends from around 60 degrees south to 75 degrees north to give complete coverage. The seabed is coloured light blue with the dry-land remaining plain ivory colour. Physical and natural features are named, with no intrusive political boundaries. An illustrated top bar is used to show the workings of underwater thermal vents and to exlpain some of the shapes and patterns on the ocean-floor. A side section has text and pictures giving a brief summary of underwater exploration. Altogether a suprior map.
