Paris in a series of street plans from Rough Guides published on very light waterproof and tear-resistant plastic paper, indexed, with recommendations for shopping, eating, drinking and venues. The plan is folded to only 9x19cm when detached from its protective cover, and can be easily rolled or folded into smaller size without any damage or creases.

On one side is a plan at 1:13,000, with an enlargement on the reverse showing the central part in greater detail (roughly: Place de la Condorde to the Bastille, and Gare St. Lazaire/Gare de l’Est to the top of the Luxembourg Gardens but with more of the 5th Arrondissement including the Rue Moufetard market and Jardin de Plantes).
The plans show metro/RER stations, with bus routes line numbers shown along the streets. One way streets are indicated, along with car parks and taxi ranks. Famous buildings, cultural institutions, etc. are highlighted and named

The plans are also annotated with colour-coded markers indicating publishers’ recommendations for shopping, eating, drinking, and venues. The map is indexed and includes: a separate list of sights; a time chart clearly showing opening times of main institutions; a diagram of the metro/RER network; an explanation of public transport system; and hotel recommendations.

Also included is a plan of the Père Lachaise Cemetery, indicating numbering of its individual sections and marking graves of several famous figures.
