Wonderfully attractive 120x66cm magnetic wallmap from Future Maps - a range of high quality world maps that demand central wall hanging space. Printed on a quality silk finish paper the map utilises up to date printing techniques to deliver a striking contemporary vision of the world in which we live. This future map includes capital and major cities, seabed & plate tectonic boundaries, selected major roads, railways and airports, time zones & north/south pole projections. The map contains different colours, which are green, blue, yellow and orange.
This magnetic map is encapsulated in plastic and then mounted onto a flexible sheet metal to give a safe, durable, write on/wipe off surface that magnets will stick to. The map is easily fixed to the wall using two magnetic strips that run along the top and bottom of the map. The strips have an adhesive side that sticks to the wall, allowing you to remove and reposition your map as often as you like. Your magnetic map comes with a dozen magnetic dots to mark places of interest and three stronger magnetic pins that allow you to use your map as a notice board.
The approximate scale is 1:30,000,000; due to the magnetic strips and the dozen magnetic dots the map is considerably heavy.
