One of the titles in a series of hiking maps based on the country’s topographic survey. The maps have contours at 20m intervals, plus shading, graphic relief and spot heights. Extensive overprint highlights hiking trails, indicating difficult passages and sections which are part of the European or Slovenian long-distance routes. Also shown are cycle or mountain bike routes. Symbols highlight several types of accommodation (hotels, motels, inns, farm lodgings, mountain huts, campsites, etc.), sport and recreational facilities, places of interest, etc. Road network is shown with gradient marks and petrol stations. Railways indicate local stops and cable car lines, chair lifts, etc. are included.

The maps have latitude/longitude grid in steps of 1’. Map legend includes English. On the reverse, the maps have a brief description of the area in English, plus more extensive notes with contact details for accommodation, etc., in Slovenian. On most titles these notes also have a brief English translation.

Please note:
This is a new series, begun in 2006 with the publication of the Triglav map, replacing a similar series with less extensive hiking and other tourist information.
