Topographical maps from the Portugal’s civilian survey organisation. The maps have contours at 50m intervals and cover an area of approximately 53 x 33km. In addition to the standard features shown on topographic maps of this scale, the maps also indicate types of vegetation. Latitude and longitude margin ticks are show at 10' intervals using the Lisbon meridian. More recently revised sheets also show UTM coordinates with margin ticks at 10km intervals, plus latitude and longitude margin ticks for the Greenwich meridian.
PLEASE NOTE:
These maps are not updated on a regular basis and some date back to the 1960s. Each 1:100,000 map is divided into quarters for the 1:50,000 scale, published in both civilian and military versions, which are in most cases available in more recent editions.
