High quality topographic survey mapping by the national mapping agency. Fully contoured (100m intervals) and showing spot heights for the main peaks this map gives extremely good coverage of the physical geography. The legend includes all standard information (e.g. towns, roads, rivers, railways, etc.), plus terrain types like areas of dense vegetation, swamps and sand dunes. The maps are drawn on a Transverse Mercator Projection. UTM co-ordinates are shown by a grid at 10km intervals, with latitude and longitude shown by margin ticks at intervals of 15'.
