The Rough Guide city map of Prague is printed on durable water-proof paper and protected by a waterproof folder.

The main map is at 1:9,500 and covers a large area of central Prague from Stromovka Park in the north to the Botanical Gardens in Nove Mesto district in the south, and from the Strahov Stadium in the west to the Zizkov TV Tower in the east. Additional small maps on the reverse extend the coverage a little further south and east and larger scale maps present the central old town district and the Prazsky Hrad area in greater detail.

A list of recommended venues for shopping, entertainment, eating and drinking are cross-referenced to colour-coded map locations, and the map is also indexed for the main sights, parks, notable buildings and hotels. In addition to such details, the maps also show car parks, one-way streets, tourist information offices, police stations, hospitals, railway stations, bus & tram routes, metro network. The 32 statues on Charles Bridge are named.

The map is indexed for streets and includes a chart presenting opening times of main attractions and places of interest.

Twelve places not to miss in Prague are highlighted on the inside of the folder, which also shows a section of the city centre for quick reference.
