Exceptionally clear and easy to read, waterproof and tear-resistant street plan of central Prague, which must have greatly benefited from editorial input by the Czech Republic’s leading map and guide distributors.

Presentation of the city’s most visited areas, the Old Town and Mala Strana, is very clear without requiring a separate enlargement. Pedestrian arcades and covered passages are clearly marked and, by indicating connections between streets by steps, the map shows the topography of the castle district.

Metro stations are marked and tram lines are shown with numbers and locations of stops. One ways streets and pedestrian zones are indicated and signposted cycle routes are marked. A wide range of clear and informative but unobtrusive symbols indicate locations of numerous hotels (all with names), museums, theatres, concert halls, churches and synagogues, and other places of interest and facilities.

Street index, placed next to the map, lists major tourist sites. Also included are insets with the metro network and a map of the city’s environs showing access to the international airport.
