A double-sided map dividing the region into east and west sections. Combines clear road and tourist detail with relief indicated by contours, altitude tinting, and peak heights. Road detail includes minor roads and selected tracks and also shows intermediate driving distances on main and secondary roads. Main railways & stations, cable cars, airfields and yachting harbours are indicated and a range of symbols depict many features eg. various antiquities and places of interest, golf courses, viewpoints, skiiing areas, glaciers, high passes, campsites, beach resorts. National parks, nature reserves and regional boundaries are also marked.
Longitude and latitude lines are drawn at 15' intervals. UTM grid margin ticks are also provided.
It includes an index of place names.
