Road classification ranges from motorways to secondary roads. Driving distances between selected points are shown on the map and where a road meets an edge of the map, the distance to the next town is stated in the margin. Car-ferries, airports, airfields and railways are also marked. Selected castles, ruins, churches and other places of interest are marked with symbols and restricted areas and national/nature parks are clearly highlighted. A clear impression of the general relief is provided by hill shading and spot heights are stated for mountain peaks.

A small map shows the ferry services of southern Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea, with their phone numbers and web site addresses.
There are also 14 indexed city-centre street plans at 1:15,000, and for Oslo, Copenhagen, Malmo, Stockholm and Helsinki there is a 1:100,000 road map of the city and surroundings.
Finally, there is a 23-page Europe road atlas section at 1:4,000,000.
