Sierra da Aracena Tour and Trail is an double sided map at a scale of 1:40,000 which is primarily designed for walkers but will also be of use to motorists. The map highlights twenty seven walking routes of between three and fourteen kilometres.

Main and minor roads, dirt tracks, footpaths, trails are very clearly marked. Petrol stations and dedicated parking facilities are shown, as are rest stops and picnic areas. Details about the road improvement scheme undertaken since 2004 are also described. Camp sites and hotels are indicated, as well as springs and bull rings.

Vivid relief shading is provided, as are contours at 100m intervals and numerous spot heights.
