Hiking maps from Slovakia’s military survey organisation. The maps have contours at 20m intervals and relief shading. An overprint highlights numerous hiking paths, indicating seasonally closed routes, hiking time in both directions, difficult passages, sections with chains or ladders, etc. The maps also show cycling and ski routes, places of interest, various types of accommodation: hotels, campsites, shelters and mountain refuges, etc. Each map covers approximately 37 x 28 km / 23 x 18 miles. Titles for popular hiking areas maps have a grid showing latitude and longitude at intervals of 1’, although the series may still include maps for some of the less visited places with margin ticks at 5’. Map legend includes English.

The accompanying booklets provide descriptions, in Slovakian only, of main places of interest and selected routes, for which profiles are also provided.
