This 750 piece jigsaw displays a reproduction of J De Ram’s map of London, dated at around 1690, “Londini Angliae Regni Metropolis Novissima & Accuratissima”.
This was originally published to mark the accession of Queen Mary and William of Orange to the English throne. Portraits of the pair appear in the lower right corner. The old London Bridge with shops and houses along its length is prominent, and a detailed legend to identify buildings also appears on the map itself.
When completed the puzzle measures 49x59 cm (19.2x23.2 inches).
The box is 30x5x21 cm (12x2x8.25 inches).
