About this series:
Topographic survey of Norway at 1:50,000, published in over 600 sheets, is the most detailed mapping available for the whole of the country. Contours are shown at 20m intervals. Each map covers approximately 27 x 20 km / 16 x 12 miles. The maps have a 1-km UTM grid, with latitude and longitude margin ticks at intervals of 5'. Map legend includes English. Norway’s national survey organization, previously known as Statens Kartverk, is now part of the Ugland IT Group and more recent editions appear under that name.
