Intermediate driving distances are marked on main routes and in mountainous regions high passes are marked. Attractive hill-shading represents the general relief with additional spot heights shown for selected peaks, and mountain ranges are named. Swamp areas are marked, also national parks and other protected areas, while symbols denote airports, sites of interest, selected beaches and antiquities. Regional boundaries are also marked. Latitude and longitude margin ticks are at 1° intervals.

Nb.Although published since the tsunami damage of 2004, reconstruction is not complete and the map represents the Aceh coast prior to the devastation.

The street plans are shown in insets and indicate notable buildings, hotels, churches, temples, mosques, railways, tourist information offices and markets. None of the maps are indexed. The multilingual legend includes English.
