An excellent publication from an Australian company Footstep Maps with a collection of maps, photographs and extensive text. The main map gives an overview of the whole of the Western Front at various stages of the war. More detailed maps shows the present day road network around the main battlefield areas (Albert-Bapaume, Verdun, Arras, Ypres, etc.) indicating monuments, cemeteries, etc.

Extensive text provides descriptions of battles, biographies of various military figures, comments. The map also includes numerous photos of the war and of the present day monuments.
