All the 23 wards are covered at a scale ranging from 1:18,000 to 1:38,000 as well as Greater Tokyo and the vicinity. Plans of subway, railways and 1:250,000 scale road mapping of the Tokyo Area and the main street mapping are all bilingual, and clearly drawn, although some text is very small. A wide range of symbols and colour-coding efficiently add useful information to the mapping. A place name index is complemented by classified indexes like hospitals, art museums, temples, public offices, etc.
