The main map at 1:15,000 shows the city centre from Parkdale district in the south-west to Riverdale in the north-east. Detail includes one-way streets, pedestrian zones, subway lines and stations, railways, car parks and ferry termini. Colours distinguish parks and built-up areas and a range of symbols denote various landmarks, notable buildings, theatres, museums, hotels, sites of interest etc. On the reverse is a smaller, less detailed map at 1:100,000 showing a larger area of the city and also a 1:700,0000 road map of the city's environs including Oshawa, Buffalo and Hamilton. All the maps are indexed for streets and/or locations as appropriate for the level of detail, and for places of interest. Throughout the coverage 29 major attractions are highlighted with bold symbols and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, tourist information resources. A diagram of the Toronto Subway network is included.
