One of the titles in a series of maps of popular hiking areas, published by Spain’s civilian survey organization using their topographic survey as a base. The maps are contoured and show local tracks and paths, although, in most titles, they do not specifically highlight waymarked or recommended hiking routes. Map legends and any additional information are in Spanish only. Most of the titles in this series were published in early or mid-1990s and have not been revised since then. They provide good representation of the terrain, but may not necessarily include recent changes in Spain’s rapidly improving road network.
In this title: contours at 10-metre intervals and colouring indicating land use in the area. Numerous pre-historic settlements are highlighted. The map has a UTM grid and margin ticks showing latitude and longitude.
