Indexed general map of Uzbekistan with a plan of central Tashkent. All place names are in Cyrillic alphabet. The country’s topography is shown by altitude colouring with spot heights, indicating seasonal rivers and lakes, deserts, marshland, etc.

The map shows Uzbekistan’s rail and road networks, with intermediate driving distances on main routes. Local administrative boundaries are also marked. Latitude and longitude grid is at intervals of 1º.

An inset covers central Tashkent. A separate leaflet has an index of localities and notes on the country’s history, geography, economic development, etc. All place names are in Cyrillic alphabet, map legend and all the text are in Russian only.
