Via Mosana, one of the Way of St James pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostella, from Charlemagne’s cathedral in Aachen or Maastricht via Liege to Namur in an A5, paperback guide with colour extracts from the Belgium’s 1:50,000 topographic survey and street plans of the main cities. The map extracts are overprinted with the route and cross-referenced to the text. The guide is in French, but a lot of information is conveyed by symbols - villages are annotated to show what facilities can be found there, including food shops and eateries, access to public transport, first aid, banks, information centres, etc. The guide also includes lists of accommodation along the route and full contact detail are provided for various organizations including tourist offices, churches and other sites along the route, etc.

The guide describes the 142.5km route from Aachen to Namur, where the path joins the French section, covered in a topo-guide published by the Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre <http://www.ffrandonnee.fr/>. Also included an alternative start from Maasticht to Liege.
