“A Guide To World War II - Invasion to Liberation” is a collection of annotated maps on a double-sided sheet, presenting the various major events in WWII in northwest Europe: the German invasion of the Low Countries and France, the BEF evacuation (culminating in Dunkirk), the German advance through France, the Dieppe Raid, D-Day and the subsequent Allied invasion, Operation Market Garden & the Battle of the Bulge. The maps show the movements of the forces and front lines and the notes describe these key events and provide some background detail. Additional simple roads maps show the locations of the Allied and German monuments, memorials and cemeteries associated with these theatres of war.
