With the publication of two new titles covering the first section from its source to Passau, and the last part from Budapest to the Black Sea, the whole of the Danube Cycle Route is now covered by English language editions of Bikeline’s highly acclaimed guides to European cycle routes. The guides provide mapping, route descriptions and accommodation suggestions, with several titles available in English translations.

Topographic survey of selected areas of British Columbia and the Canadian Rockies on waterproof and tear-resistant maps. Whilst the Canadian Department of Natural Resources decides whether to provide updated pre-printed editions of its survey mapping or switch to print-on-demand only, in 2007 it began co-operating with ITMB on a new series of maps with cartography of the Canadian topographic survey and additional tourist and recreational information provided by ITMB.

One of the titles in a series covering southern Norway’s main cycling routes on waterproof maps with multilingual booklets. Each title consists of a set of 24.5 x 12cm waterproof cards with detailed maps at 1:100,000 and street plans at 1:20,000, overprinted with the route. Map legend, conveniently provided on a separate card, includes English.

“The Wonderful World of Albert Kahn” is just that, a wonderful book full of autochromes sumptuously reproduced from Kahn’s huge collection. In 1909 the millionaire French banker and philanthropist Kahn embarked on an ambitious project to create a colour photographic record of, and for, the peoples of the world. He believed that he could use the (then) new autochrome colour photography process to promote cross-cultural peace and understanding.
