The Stanfords store in Bristol was our first branch to launch outside of London and the doors were opened 10 years ago by the great travel writer Eric Newby.
Located at 29 Corn Street near to the Floating Harbour, the branch is in the heart of Bristol's market centre. Recently refurbished to mark its 10th birthday, the store maintains a similar stock profile to our flagship store in Covent Garden, London, and houses the Bristol Stanfords Digital office.
A new feature to the store is a 1:5,000 map of Bristol covering the staircase wall from the ground floor to the basement.
