One of the titles in Kompass's main map series of Italy at 1:50,000, with the islands like Capri or Elba at more detailed scales. The series covers the northern part of the Italian Alps, the lakes region of Lombardy, the Dolomites, Italian Riviera, selected parts of Tuscany and Umbria, the Sorrento Peninsula, and the islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Contour interval varies from 100 metres in mountainous areas to 25 metres in the hills around Florence and Siena. All the maps highlight local hiking paths and show various types of accommodation, such as selected inns and hotels, campsites, mountain huts and refuges, etc. Some of the maps also show cycle or mountain bike trails or ski routes.

The maps have no geographical coordinates, unless indicated in the individual description. Map legend includes English. Several titles come with a separate booklet describing the area, in Italian or German/Italian only, except where English is indicated in the individual map description.
