The relatively large scale allows for the inclusion of more minor locations and roads than on other road maps, although it still appears quite cramped in more densely populated regions. Road detail includes national & state road numbers, and intermediate driving distances on main roads are indicated. Railways, airports and main ferries are also marked.
Parks, reserves, forest, prohibited areas and Aboriginal lands & Time Zone boundaries are marked and various places of interest are indicated by symbols.
Tasmania is included and inset maps show Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, Christmas Island & Cocos Islands. Latitude & longitude lines are drawn at 2° intervals.
There are city area maps of Darwin, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney & Brisbane plus city-centre street plans of Sydney & Melbourne, and a driving distance table.
