The atlas begins with an information section listing truck & equipment dealers, weighbridges, plus regulations on vehicle weight and dimension limits, load restraint advice and emergency first aid.
Each state is covered by a section of road mapping at a variety of scales. For each state capital there is also a CBD street map and a general map of the city and surrounding suburbs showing main routes. On the latter, bridges < 4.5m clearance are indicated where data is available.

All classes of road from freeways to minor roads and 4WD tracks are indicated, and there is emphasis on B-Double routes, Road Train routes and Over-dimensional routes. Other details: railways, airports, settlements, truckstops, heavy vehicle rest areas, weighbridges, points of interest, water features and various land classifications such as regional reserves and Aboriginal lands. Intermediate driving distances are marked on the map and distance charts are also included. The maps are annotated with safety warnings/advice where appropriate.
