Railways, ferry boats and airports are also marked alongside peak heights, international boundaries, forests and recommended beaches.
A number of symbols also indicates places of interests, viewpoints, natural curiosities, notable buildings and ruins, monuments, monasteries and churches, yearly and seasonal campsites, windmills, lighthouses and golf courses.

The map also includes a special "Distoguide" incorporated into the map cover, showing at a glance road distances between several cities of Benelux region.
