Double-sided, indexed street plan with a larger scale inset of the city centre and Waterfront marina area. The area covered is split into north and south sections, and extends from Milnerton in the north to Kalk Bay Mountains in the south, and from Epping Industrial in the east to Hout Bay Harbour in the west.

Road detail includes one-way restrictions, toll plazas and traffic lights, and railways are also included. Colours distinguish built-up areas, retail districts, industrial areas and parks, and district boundaries and names are marked. A range of symbols denote a variety of features e.g. sites and features of interest, tourist information offices, recreation venues, emergency and community services, embassies, and car parks. Some trails are marked in the Table Mountain National Park area, but there is no graphic relief detail, only some peak heights are marked. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals.
