Large, detailed road map with index, streetplans and stickers to mark selected map locations. A particularly useful addition is a small fold-out flap in the jacket, showing a reference map of the area covered and including the coordinate system in the margins, thus making it easier to go to the correct locality of the map. A set of 7 peel-on - peel-off stickers (po-po) are provided for making selected locations more prominent when navigating.

Road detail includes secondary roads, unsurfaced minor roads and tracks, and shows intermediate driving distances on many roads. Scenic routes, tourist routes, toll-stations, motorway filling stations and significant gradients are also indicated. Railways, airports, airfields, shipping routes and car ferries are marked. Locations and objects of interest are highlighted and symbols show selected sites of interest, viewpoints, campsites and lighthouses. There is some subtle hill-shading in mountainous areas to show general relief, and spot heights are applied. Administrative boundaries, reserves, national parks, bathing beaches, marsh areas and offshore reefs are indicated. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals.

Several insets show street plans of central Playas del Este, Varadero, Havana, Cienfuegos, Camaguey and Santiago de Cuba. These show such details as information offices, churches, hospitals, police stations and other notable buildings. The multilingual map legend includes English. The index is in a booklet attached to the cover - the road map is indexed for place names, mountains, lakes, rivers, national parks and sites of interest.
