Double-sided map combining the whole of the country with more detailed mapping of the Nile area and a street plan of Cairo. On one side there is a general map of Egypt at 1:2,500,000, with relief shading and spot heights to indicate the topography, showing the road network and hightlighting main places of interest, plus an indexed street plan of Cairo at 1:17,500. The plan, which includes all the main sights within the city itself, shows the transport network, places of interest, selected hotels and restaurants, etc.

Othe reverse the Nile Valley from Aswan to the delta is shown in greater detail in three sections at 1:750,000. General relief is depicted by attractive hill shading, complemented by spot heights for selected locations. Road detail includes secondary and some minor roads, and intermediate driving distances are marked on some main routes. Railways and wadis are shown, and symbols depict airports, pyramids, historic ruins, and other locations of interest. Latitude & longitude lines are at 1 degree intervals. Map legend includes English.
