Michelin's mapping of France at 1:200,000 is combined here into a spiral-bound atlas (A4-sized pages).

An introductory section gives an overview of 50 scenic motoring tours. For each tour there is a summary of length, duration, suggested highlights and a reference for the appropriate atlas pages.

Road detail shows minor roads and includes intermediate driving distances, with steep road gradients, low bridge height restrictions and bridge load limits also marked. Railways, ferries, airports and administrative boundaries are included.

The maps use hill shading to show the general relief, spot heights are applied and symbols depict plenty of landmarks and sites of interest. Tourist information includes scenic routes and viewpoints, sport and recreational facilities, and selected long-distance footpaths (the GRs). Map legend includes English.

Additional features of the atlas include: an enlargement at 1:100,000 for the environs of Paris; a distance table; indexed street plans of 75 towns; updated speed camera sites.
