The map boldly stresses main roads and motorways in strong colours but also shows minor roads in considerable detail. Road detail includes motorway junction layouts, intermediate driving distances, toll roads, seasonal road closures, roads closed to caravans, high passes, gradient marking, etc. Railways are also included.
Extensive tourist information includes the indication of scenic roads and special sightseeing tourist routes, national parks, locations of interest, campsites, landmarks etc.

Some subtle hill shading gives an indication of the general relief and geographical features eg. mountain and hill chains, and valleys are identified; a grid shows latitude and longitude in steps of 10'.
