A series of general road maps at different scales for selected counties and popular areas of Great Britain and aimed squarely at the tourist market. Simple, even garish, cartography clearly depicts roads, railways, national trails and basic topographic features eg. woodland, built-up areas, water features. A general impression of relief is depicted by simple altitude tinting and a range of symbols highlight places of interest, recreation facilities, campsites, car parks, public toilets etc. Inset maps show simple street plans of selected town & city centres.

nb. The Wales and Scotland maps are the exceptions to the above and employ a slightly different cartographic style. See individual descriptions.
