Detail includes roads, railways, ferries, airports, altitude tinting, national parks, prefectural boundaries and seats, shrines, temples & mountain peaks. Additionally there are conurbation and city centre maps, tourist and resort area maps, national and metropolitan rail and subway maps, and thematic maps eg. historic sites, world heritage sites, ceramic kiln areas. The bilingual presentation of all the names makes some of these maps look very cluttered, especially at the smaller scales.
