One of the titles in a series of large, highly detailed maps from the Catalan survey organisation. The maps have very elegant and clear cartography with contours at 20m intervals, hill shading and fine graphics to portray the relief, landmarks, terrain, and vegetation types. Local hiking paths are shown and an overprint highlights GR routes. Mountain refuges and campsites are marked, as well as national parks and various reserves and other features of interest for tourists, e.g. ruins and notable trees. The map has a UTM grid, with latitude and longitude values shown for the map corners. Map legend is in Catalan only.
In this title: the map covers a part of the Alt Emporda region north of Figueres, and across the border into France. Coverage extends from Llers in the south to Cap d'Ullastrell in France in the north, and from Darnius in the west to Punta de s'Arenella in the east. The maps shows not only L'Albera PN and much of its surroundings but also part of Cap de Creus PN, south of Llança.
