Marrakesh on a laminated, tear-resistant Insight Flexi Map, with a street plan of city and an enlargement of the souk area in the Medina, a street plan of Agadir, a road map of southern Morocco, plus extensive tourist information.

On one side is a street plan of Marrakesh at 1:15,000, extending westwards beyond the Old Town within its walls to include the modern centre of the city with the railway station and access to the airport. Main public buildings, places of interest and selected hotels are prominently highlighted and named. Next to it, an enlargement at 1:7,000 covers the central part of the Old Town around the souks in greater detail. Both plans are separately indexed for streets, districts, hotels, public buildings and points of interest.

On the reverse is a street plan of Agadir, presented and indexed as described above, plus a road map of southern Morocco at 1:900,000, extending along the coast from Safi to Agadir and inland to beyond Ouarzazate and Demnate to cover the High Atlas. The map shows the area’s road network including selected tracks, and highlights numerous places of interest.

A special feature of the Insight Flexi series are panels with additional tourist information:

• 29 main sights, neatly grouped into sections covering Souks, Squares and Gates; Museums and Galleries; Palaces and Gardens; Mosques, Madrassas and Shrines; plus Further Afield, are given brief descriptions and are prominently highlighted on the relevant maps.

• Further panels provide information on Getting Around and Facts for Visitors, including tourist information offices, public holidays, opening times, money, telecommunications and monthly climate charts.
