Indexed double-sided road map on durable, waterproof paper. The map combines clear road and tourist detail with relief indicated by contours, altitude and bathymetric tinting, and peak heights. Salt pans and wadis are also indicated. Road detail distinguishes unsurfaced roads and selected tracks and 4WD routes and also shows intermediate driving distances on main and some secondary roads. Scenic routes are highlighted and locations where petrol stations can be found are indicated. Main railways and sea routes are included and airports and airfields are indicated. Northern Morocco is shown on one side, with the south on the reverse and Western Sahara in an inset at 1:2,500,000. Nb. The Western Sahara border is not indicated.

A range of symbols depicts a variety of tourism features and landmarks eg. various antiquities and places of interest (eg mosques, forts, kasbahs), river crossings, viewpoints, beaches, oases, wells and spas. Nature reserves and national parks are marked. Longitude and latitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals. Major town and city names are marked in Arab as well as Latin script. The map is indexed for place names. The map legend is in English only.

Although clearly legible on the map, the lower contrast of these details may make them appear less obvious on the reproduction of the cartography presented here.
