About this series: As well as major and minor roads and county boundaries these detailed atlases also show campgrounds, railroads, dirt roads, boat ramps, hidden lakes and streams, airfields, power lines and so on. Most of the atlases use contours and relief shading to indicate the topography and provide additional information on everything from museums and gardens to hiking and cycling routes. Indexed street plans for prominent towns and cities are occasionally included along with an extensive gazetteer. Most of the atlases are GPS compatible, with latitude and longitude grid lines at 5 or 10 minute intervals (marked in both the conventional and decimal form), however this can vary according to the scale of the mapping.
