Large indexed street plan covering Manhattan south of Hamilton Heights (145th St). The coverage reaches south to Fort Jay on Governor’s Island, west to Union City, NJ and east to Maspeth, Brooklyn. The cartography highlights main roads and indicates one-way streets and pedestrian precincts. Ferries, railways, aerial tramways, subways and stations are marked, although different subway lines are not distinguished by colour. Built-up areas, public buildings, locations of interest, industrial zones, parks and cemeteries are shown. Symbols depict various landmarks and tourism features: theatres, museums, monuments, churches, synagogues, car parks, tourist information offices, post offices, hospitals and police stations. No latitude and longitude lines are drawn.
