Indexed tourist map with additional street plans and enlargements of national parks and popular areas. The country is divided north/south in this double-sided map. Road detail includes selected minor roads and tracks, and shows mountain pass sections and intermediate driving distances major routes. Major railways and ferries across Lake Titicaca are also included. The publisher’s approach to conveying most effectively the best routes to the locations and regions of interest, is to reduce distracting details. Consequently, compared with some other maps for the same region, this map shows no elaborate representation of general relief, although principal highland regions and swamp areas are indicated and some peak heights are marked. Administrative departments, reserves and national parks are clearly highlighted and symbols show airports, lighthouses, ruins, places of interes. No latitude and longitude lines are marked, The map is indexed and annotated with regional climate information charts, and includes a distance chart.

Small inset plans show streets and places of interest in central Cuzco, Piura, Trujillo, Cajamarca, Arequipa and Lima. Other details include hotels, churches, information offices, hospitals, etc. There is also a small plan of Machu Picchu at 1:6,0000 and an enlargement of the Cuzco/Inca Trail region at 1:55,000.
